Melinda’s ROX Story

My counseling partner and I noticed we were spending a large amount of time helping our girls resolve conflict. I attended our state school counseling conference looking for something that would help our girls, and I learned about ROX.

I shared this program with my admin team, obtained funding through a scholarship (thank you!), and started two groups.

Parents could not thank me enough for offering this program to our girls. At the end of the year several parents sought me out to tell me how meaningful it was for their daughter.

I was awarded the largest grant in the district to expand the program at our school for the upcoming year. I've also shared the program with counselor friends in other districts to hopefully impact more girls.

Thank you for this amazing program and your investment in our girls!
